Coniston Ltd, the contractors working on the restoration of Sheerness Dockyard Church heard that staff at Oasis Academy were working harder than ever to support 150 families with regular Fare Share food parcels, and wanted to join the generous local organisations and companies already backing the schools efforts.

They quickly contacted their suppliers and have just donated over £2400 to the Academy's fundraiser to help feed children and their families over the Christmas and beyond.

Coniston's Contracts Manager Andy Wood said…

“Coniston & our sub-contractors All Access Scaffolding, Dover Demolition, PAYE and Norton Mechanical, are very happy to help and we take the matter of supporting feeding Sheppey families seriously and personally I am thrilled that we can. Knowing that youngsters are benefitting is heartwarming for us.”

Sheerness Dockyard Preservation Trust Director Will Palin said…

“This is a wonderful gesture which demonstrates Coniston’s commitment to the spirit of our project and its aim to benefit local community.”

Paul Murray, Head of Community Hub at Oasis Academy said…

“2020 has been an awful year but there are some truly wonderful people and organisations out there who have supported us throughout this. I know I speak on behalf of all our families, Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey and Oasis Community Learning THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for everything.”
